In this chapter we've examined the policies that Exchange Server 2010 and Office 365's Exchange Online services can provide to give the administrator a degree of control over settings on ActiveSync devices, such as password settings, synchronization settings, and allowed features.
In the earlier part of this chapter, we've demonstrated which policies actually take effect on iOS devices and how they are presented to end users when a particular setting is configured at the server-side, which will hopefully give you confidence when deciding what settings are appropriate for your organization and how you will manage implementation of the changes when they are presented to end users.
