The Debug area in Xcode


The main Xcode window is split into panes. Typically, when we launch Xcode, the Debug area is not visible. We can either wait for the debugger to appear on its own, which it will due to some program errors, or we can show the debugger area manually and familiarize ourselves with where the Debug area will appear in Xcode.
