Time for action – enabling full screen mode in iSight Recorder


We are now yet ready to enable the full screen mode for our iSight Recorder.

  1. Open the iSight Recorder project in Xcode.

  2. Select the MainMenu.xib file.

  3. Select the iSight Recorder window.

  4. In the Attributes Inspector, locate the Full Screen option and change the pop-up menu value from Unsupported to Primary as shown in the following screenshot:

  5. Click on the Run button to launch the iSight Recorder App.

  6. Click on the full screen icon in the window drag bar to put the App into full screen mode. The following screenshot shows the full screen icon:

  7. Quit the App.

  8. Launch it again. Notice that this time it did launch in full screen, and then quit the App.

  9. Modify the .xib file and set the Full Screen pop up back to Unsupported.

  10. Select the file named BTSAppDelegate.m and in the method named applicationDidFinishLaunching: add the following program code:

    - (void)applicationDidFinishLaunching:(NSNotification *)aNotification
    {
