The QGIS Cloud plugin

The QGIS Cloud plugin provides a user-friendly interface for publishing your data and maps with QGIS Cloud hosting. As it is a third-party plugin, we first need to install it.

If you have a proxy server, it is necessary to configure it first. Plugin Manager uses the same proxy settings as QGIS, so all you need to do is to go to Settings | Options and set up a proxy in the Network tab:

  1. Start QGIS and open Plugin Manager by going to Plugins | Manage and Install Plugins. Wait while QGIS receives a list of plugins from the repository.

  2. Switch to the All tab and start typing cloud in the Search field in order to filter the list of plugins, as shown in this screenshot:

  3. Then, select the plugin and click on the Install plugin button. The download will take some time, so be patient. When it completes, you will see a message bar with the confirmation of the download, and you can now close Plugin Manager. More information about installing plugins can be found in the Extending functionality...
