The app that we saw is very basic and there is a lot of scope for improvements. The following are a few things that can be done to the app we just finished:
Use a templating engine such as HandleBarJS
Use the Ionic framework
Use RequireJS to dynamically load the required libraries
Handle hardware-accelerated, GPU-based animations
Compress source files
