Google Fusion Tables is a web service provided by Google for creating, visualizing, and sharing data tables. The data is stored in tables that the users can view, copy, combine, manipulate, and download.
In this recipe, we are going to combine two different Fusion Tables to get the data we want, then we will see how we can access the data and populate a Mapbox base map.
The following steps are required:
Generate a new Fusion Table, or use public data.
Get a Fusion Table API key for Google Developer Console.
Generate a SQL query to get the data you want from the Fusion Tables.
Use the Fusion Tables JavaScript API to send the request.
Parse the response, and populate the map.
