Xamarin has matured over the years, and with their recent embracing of XAML, they are building on the great things that XAML has going for it. It is truly becoming a write once, run many type of platform. With Visual Studio 2015, Xamarin even comes as part of the out-of-the-box experience, proving the maturity of the platform and also the Microsoft's commitment to work with Xamarin in order to give us, as developers, the best tools for the job.
