Touch ID is a new technology used for authentication starting with iOS 7 and iPhone 5s devices. Initially, it was used only by Apple to unlock the iPhone or make purchases through the App store. Developers couldn't use this technology in their apps. Starting with iOS 8, Apple has introduced a lot of new technologies, and one of them was using Touch ID in third-party apps. In that case, users can sign in to the apps using their fingerprints, and there is no need to enter a password! So, you can make the users life easier and simpler using this technology.
