Creating an announcement

An announcement appears at the top of the classroom Stream. Whenever new posts, such as an announcement, question, or assignment, are added to the Stream, the post will be added to the top of the Stream. Therefore, older posts in the Stream are moved lower down the Stream.

Note

New announcements are added to the top of the Stream. Older posts in the Stream move lower in the Stream, but are not deleted.

To create an announcement, go to the desired class and follow the following directions:

  1. In the Stream, click on the + icon at the bottom-right of the page.

  5. Click the POST button when you are ready to post:

If you are not ready to post the announcement, you can save it as a draft by clicking on the drop-down menu beside the POST button...
