Excel 2016


In keeping with the reporting theme of this book, we want to share two methods of sharing your Excel 2016 reports if you have an Office 365 subscription. Report distribution is as important as the report itself. The first will be via an instant message for one-on-one (or more) sharing; and the second is for presenting your report, live to a group or just one person. What good is a report if nobody reads it? Does it make a sound like the proverbial tree falling in the woods?

Sharing Excel reports via IM

Some of our reports are created on the fly, meaning something right away based on a unique request. Let's assume that a department head asked us for a financial statement, and we want to share it immediately and be available for a small dialogue. Instant Messaging (IM) is a great distribution option for this scenario.
