Summary

We've covered a variety of methods of getting into Power BI Desktop for reporting. We've connected to SQL data, data from websites, and from Excel files. We've even discussed using content packs and multiple files in a folder. Now that the data is loaded, we can build reports.

Reports in Power BI are a collection of charts, graphs, tables, and so on. Each item on the report is called a visual. In the next chapter, we'll begin building visuals. (By the way, I'm so excited. Building Power BI visuals is as much fun as popcorn at the movies!)
