When the application is created in the Windows Dev Center, you should associate your project in the IDE with this application. Fortunately, such a process is really straightforward and can be performed directly from the IDE without writing even one line of code, as you will see in this recipe.
To step through this recipe, you need the project that you want to associate with the store. You should have an application created in the Windows Dev Center as well.
To associate an application with the store, perform the following steps:
Right-click on the project node in the Solution Explorer window and go to Store | Associate App with the Store.
Press Next in the Associate Your App with the Windows Store window.
Choose the application name from the list and press Next.
When the information about values that will be added to the manifest file is presented, click on the Associate button.
