Summary


In this chapter, we had a look at installing Docker on your Windows 10 Pro machine. We also had a look at what Docker is and the benefits to developers. We then took a look at troubleshooting the setup of Docker on your local machine when the firewall seems to be the blocking issue. Then, we took Docker and created an ASP.NET Core MVC application that had Docker support added from the start. We also looked at how to add Docker support to existing applications. Finally, we set up Docker to integrate with GitHub and perform automated builds. We also had a look at how to pull the container from Docker Hub and run it in a container on your local machine.
