Say, we are building an application for the sales force which allows them to look at the orders placed in the ERP system from their touch device. Moreover, you want to notify the user by playing a notification sound as soon as a new order arrives in the system. This can be achieved by using the audio component which is provided by Sencha Touch and in this recipe. We will see how to use the audio component to play a sound.
