Creating an RSS feed


In this recipe, we will learn how to use the techniques we have learned so far to build RSS (Rich Site Summary), which is a format to deliver content that changes regularly.

By providing an RSS feed for the content of your site, you will allow people to have a convenient way of staying informed by retrieving the latest content of your application. RSS feeds are convenient because people don't need to access each site that they want to read content from. All they need to do is add the RSS feed URL into their favorite newsreader and all of the content the person is interested in will be in one place.
