Installing the Document Editor 7.0.5


Oracle Document Editor can be installed through a CD, or can be downloaded from the Oracle Technology Network (OTN) Software downloads page at http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/soasuite/downloads/downloads-085394.html#11g.

Today, Oracle Document Editor can only be installed on Microsoft Windows based platforms, including Win 2000, XP, Vista 32-bit and 64-bit, and Windows Server 2003.

To install Document Editor, download and extract all the files, and run Install.exe.

You need to create a separate folder for each ZIP file:

There will be installation scripts that will guide you through the installation process in each of these folders. You can go through the install script in each of the folders, which will install different standards. You can also combine the three directories and install them together.
