Out of the various tasks which make up manual testing, this chapter has approached storage and the execution of manual tests while dealing with the problems that arise around them.
The chapter started with demonstrating the inner tools of Test Studio for creating tests and annotating them; alternatively, it showed how this process can be simplified, thanks to the integration with MS Excel.
The chapter continued to talk about the setup and teardown procedures that are usually inherent to manual tests but inconveniently repeated among them. Next, it showed how this repetitiveness can be treated in hybrid tests by utilizing the fast forward feature exemplified in two real-world cases.
Manual test execution was addressed afterwards along with the vulnerabilities that are bound to it. These vulnerabilities were overcome by Test Studio's guided execution and annotation process.
