In this chapter, we've just scratched the surface of deploying Storm in a cloud environment but hopefully introduced you to the many possibilities available, from deploying it to a hosted cloud environment such as Amazon EC2 to deploying it to a local cloud provider on your workstation or even an in-house hypervisor server.

We encourage you to explore both cloud hosting providers such as AWS as well as virtualization options such as Vagrant in more depth to better equip your Storm deployment options. Between the manual installation procedures introduced in Chapter 2, Configuring Storm Clusters, and the technology introduced in this chapter, you should be well equipped to find the development, test, and deployment solution that best fits your needs.
