In this chapter, we reviewed some of the more advanced NAV 2015 tools and techniques. By now, we should have a strong admiration for the power and flexibility of NAV 2015. Many of these subject areas require more study and hands-on practice by you. We spent a lot of time on Role Center construction because that is the heart of the Role Tailored Experience. Much of what you learn about Role Center design and construction can be applied across the board in role tailoring other components. We went through XMLports and Web Services, then showed how the two capabilities can be combined to provide a simple, but powerful method of interfacing with external systems. By now, you should be almost ready to begin your own development project. In the next chapter, we will cover the debugger, extensibility (adding non-C/AL controls to pages), and additional topics.
