Row level security is a part of the security profiles, that can be created from Information Design Tool (IDT) or from managing restrictions under Universe Design Tool (UDT). Both IDT and UDT have amazing capabilities in securing Universe access. We can use this feature to secure or restrict user access for any query, report, and dashboard or web service based on that Universe. Universe is the semantic layer that exists between the physical data source and the end business users.
