Summary

In this chapter, we covered the query editor, did an overview of its components, saw which operations we can do on queries, such as creating, listing, editing, cloning, archiving and scheduling, and saw what operations can be performed on query results, such as filtering, along with various format download options.

We saw what sharing options we have on queries, and covered the option of creating queries that accept parameters. Afterwards, we went over the query snippets and saw how can they make our query creation faster and easier.

In addition to this, we covered the alerting option provided by Redash so that we are able to stay updated on the most important metrics, even when we're not next to an open Redash tab in a browser.
