In this chapter, after getting on overview of the data and finishing with the data preparation, you learned a bit about more complex statistics, which I called intermediate-level statistics, for analyzing your data. You learned how to explore relationships between pairs of variables with different possible content: both continuous, both discrete, and one continuous and one discrete. You have also seen how you can express a dependent variable as a linear or polynomial function of one or more independent variables. You saw how you can use the formula for predictions, and you have also seen some advanced visualizations of the data.
In Chapter 7, Unsupervised Machine Learning, we will be moving away from the predictive models. We will discuss the most popular unsupervised, or undirected, data science algorithms, and how to create the models based on those algorithms in different languages.
