Adding a logo to an envelope


For this task we'll assume that the standard number 10 envelope template generally suits your need but that you would like to add you company logo to the return address.

The logo file type that you use for this task, can be any of the standard graphic formats such as BMP, JPG, GIF, and so on. The main task objective is to make room for the logo on the envelope and then insert and size the graphic file. For the purposes of this task, let's use an image file that is available on the system. Logos and images come in a variety of shapes and sizes. We will use a relatively simple rectangle for this task. You will need to modify the measurements that are used to fit your own logo.

Getting ready

As with the previous task, we will start by editing a standard template. There isn't any preparation required other than to have an ACT! database open.

How to do it…

  1. 1. From any screen in the ACT! program, click on the Report menu and select Edit Template.

  2. 2. In the Open ACT! Report...
