In Chapter 4, Painting with Numbers – An Analytic View, we made two analytic views in our SAP HANA system. The first of these pulled the revenue data for our customers from the REVENUE table and joined it to our attribute view, giving us information on the customer alongside their revenue. The second analytic view that we created introduced the notion of user input, allowing our users to enter a revenue increase percentage, and then showed the projected revenue for 2012 based upon the real revenue for 2011 in the system.

In this chapter we'll be seeing how we can create a view which joins the information from these two analytic views together, presenting in one place the real revenue from the first view alongside the projected revenue in the second.
