Apart from the sharing mechanisms we discussed so far, for account, we have users managing the accounts; these users are known as the account team. The account team can be given access depending on the business use case. On similar lines, for opportunity, we have the opportunity team, and for case, we have the case team to manage case collaboratively. Let's discuss all of them in detail so that you are aware of them. These are found generally on the related list of the object record. Each record (account, opportunity, or case) will have the Add button on the related list to add members to the team and allocate access rights to these users.
On the user's record, we have a provision to add default members (for account and opportunity only). This is shown in the following screenshot:
