Summary


In this chapter, you learned what the SQL Server sample databases are. Also, you know what the process of normalization is and how to recognize normal forms based on the entity attributes. Finally, you learned how to install the AdventureWorks sample, which we will be using in the next chapter.

In the next chapter, you will learn new, or improve you current, SQL coding skills through a crash course of querying. The reason is very simple, if you are dealing with databases then you should speak SQL.
