This recipe will utilize the LDAP Server, which is embedded with Oracle WebLogic Server. The Oracle WebLogic Embedded LDAP Server was configured for ODI external authentication in the previous recipe, Setting up LDAP Security with ODI.
For this recipe, the Oracle WebLogic Embedded LDAP Server will be used to authenticate ODI users with ODI Studio as well as the ODI Agent processes for both standalone and the JEE agents. Oracle WebLogic 10.1.3.6.0 was installed with the default settings. ODI was then installed in the same Oracle Middleware_HOME
directory and an ODI JEE agent was then deployed to a managed server within this instance of Oracle WebLogic; the WebLogic domain is named ODI_AGENT
