Filtering activities in reports


In any report that includes activities, there are special filtering options for the activities. For this task, we will be using the Activities report.

How to do it…

  1. 1. From any screen in the ACT! program, click on Reports in the navigation bar on the left side of the screen.

  2. 2. In the Report List, double-click on the Activities report.

  3. 3. Click the radio button next to All Contacts.

  4. 4. Check Exclude 'My Record'.

  5. 5. Click the dropdown for Send the report output to and select Preview.

  6. 6. Click the radio button for All users.

  1. 7. Click on the Activity tab and follow these steps:

  2. i. Check Calls and Meetings.

  3. ii. Uncheck To-Do's and Custom.

  4. iii. Uncheck include cleared activities.

  5. iv. Click the radio button for All users

  6. v. Click the dropdown for Date range and select Next Week.

  1. vi. Click OK to run the report with these filter options.
