Adding drawings to my project


Every sheet of the drawing list should be entered into PCM as a single drawing record. Any of these sheets can be revised so the need to track the revisions and therefore their distribution of that revision against that one sheet is important. Of course, when you are looking at potentially thousands of sheets or more, this may seem impossible. The following screenshot shows just one tab of the large amount of fields that can be entered when managing drawings:

At the beginning of the project, the objective is to just get the list in the system. All this information is not required initially; however, the more we can enter upfront the less we will need to enter at a later date. There are some fields that will be populated as the drawing is revised or distributed. There are several methods to add all the sheets of drawings to a project.
