Summary

The spreadsheet is a very powerful tool. It has capabilities beyond what most users understand. It can hold an extremely large amount of data. It has its place in the world of the computerized office, just not in managing critical project information where multiple users and multiple projects are involved. It is a great supporting tool, just not "the" tool for storing and managing any of the project information.

In the next chapter, we will be looking at the answer to not using spreadsheets to manage all this information and the money of your project.
