Chapter 4. Enterprise Gamification – Design

Keeping in mind Gartner's predictions that by 2014, 80 percent of the gamified applications will fail to meet business objectives primarily due to poor design, in the previous chapter, we learned about the strategic approach to gamification. We actualized how business objectives must overlap with the user objectives. Let's further explore the kernel of any gamification system, in other words, its design phase.
