Organizations define and measure Key Performance Indicators (KPI) that constitute the primarily targeted business objectives and other metrics to evaluate the success of the pilot implementation. With respect to KPIs, the baseline version is captured before pilot implementation and compared with the data captured after pilot implementation. The other metrics and measures that are specific to pilot implementation indirectly influence the KPIs and also provide a good overview on the user engagement levels and its impact on the KPIs. Once measured, all of the data is translated in the form of actionable insights or reports, as well as analyzed and monitored for further inference on the outcomes.
