Once you start to get freelance projects, it will quickly become clear that every client is different; some will be easy to work with, while others will be a bit of a handful. Being successful as a freelancer ultimately comes down to:

Making clients happy
Being profitable

The types of client you work with will have a direct influence on both of the above factors. If only every client was easy to work with, freelancers around the world would live lives with less stress and better cash flow; the unfortunate reality is that almost all clients will cause issues that affect your ability to satisfy them and/or be profitable with your projects.
