To create an ASP.NET website, ensure you have Visual Studio 2013 open; you might want to create an empty solution or open an existing one wherein to put the project we'll create. Perform the following steps:
Create a new website by navigating to File | New Web Site.
Select Web after navigating to Installed | Visual C#.
On the central panel of the dialog box, select ASP.NET Empty Web Site, give it a name, and click on OK, as shown in the following screenshot:
Visual Studio will create the specified file with some basic HTML content.
