Deploying a Hybrid Infrastructure – Exchange Hybrid

Chapter 10. Deploying a Hybrid Infrastructure – Exchange Hybrid

Now that we have deployed Directory Synchronization, let's start to configure our next core service, Exchange Hybrid. By now you should have the necessary physical or virtual servers, firewall, and DNS ready or in place. Exchange Hybrid is the third service we need to build for our Office 365 integration. The core services are:

  1. AD FS

  2. Office 365 Directory Synchronization

  3. Exchange Hybrid

It's critical that we deploy these services in the order they are listed. If you choose to install these items out of order, some alternative configuration changes will be required that are not described in this book. Currently, they are listed in the order suggested by Microsoft best practices.

In this chapter, we will look at the deploying Exchange Hybrid topic.
