So far in this book, we have guided you in getting your Office 365 environment up and running, as well as acquainted you with the options available for your organization.

In the previous chapter, we walked you through the steps for preparing your environment for a simple migration to Exchange Online, as well as provided you with an overview of migration options.

In this chapter, we will walk you through the various options to get you migrated to Exchange Online successfully. We'll cover the following topics:

  • Migrating from non-Exchange Server systems

  • Migrating from Exchange Server

Let's take a look at the steps involved, in each of the migration processes in the following diagram.
