Mobile


Mobile is the last tab in Exchange that we'll be covering in this chapter. This section regulates what your users can do with their Exchange connectivity on mobile phones and devices.

In this section, we control the access that mobile devices have to Exchange:

The first thing that you can set on this page is the Exchange ActiveSync policies. Click on the edit box to the far right and the following screen appears:

Set mobile devices that aren't managed by rules or personal exemptions to be allowed access to Exchange, be denied from accessing Exchange, or be quarantined, for the admin to make the decision later. For quarantines, you need to set the admins who will get email notifications that there's a device in quarantine, and you should provide text for the message to be sent to the users of blocked or quarantined devices.
