Movement of information between these platforms

The process for connecting these types of integrations is roughly the same for a great many of them. They are initiated through the Integrations page. There, you will select the integration for your shopping platform and proceed through the connection/authentication process.

What can be most useful to understand is how information is passed back and forth between the platforms. When you authenticate an integration, it enables that integration to act per the settings when you start the sync of the application. After that initial sync from the setup, generally, integrations will then send information about contacts and subscribers as they complete purchases or abandon carts when logged into their accounts with the store.
