How to import a list

As is true with a couple of other basic features of your Mailchimp account that are central to the whole platform being able to function, there are a couple of ways of navigating to Audience and starting a new import. As we saw in Chapter 1, in Figure 1.3, with a brand-new account you’ll see a prompt on the home page of the app called Add Your Contacts. This is probably the quickest initial path to the import wizard, but of course, even if that prompt isn’t there because you’ve done at least one small import, you can reach it by selecting Audience from the left-hand navigation panel, which will take you to the Audience Dashboard screen, as seen in Figure 3.2:

When you click on the Add Your Contacts button at the top, you’ll be given three options for importing your existing contacts:
