Along with the templates, you also have elements and images that you can add to your template to help make it unique. These are available to both Free and Pro users and many of them are also editable, making Canva a very versatile platform.

In this chapter, we are going to cover the following main topics:

  • Finding and editing your templates
  • Starting and finding your designs
  • Using lines and shapes
  • Text effects and fonts

By the end of this chapter, you will have gained a good amount of knowledge on using and editing templates. You will know where to search for templates that are aligned with your business, how to create a design from scratch, and where to find and edit simple lines and shapes.
