Word – setting a proofing language

To set up one or more proofing languages in Microsoft Word, go to File | Options and select Proofing. It is possible to change settings related to auto-correction, add custom dictionaries, and more, as shown in Figure 15.19:

Once you have defined settings for proofing, you can change the proofing language and language preferences easily for every different document you are editing:

Go to the Review tab, click on the Language button (Figure 15.20), and you will be able to select different languages, as shown in Figure 15.21:
