SAP’s integration technologies

With the proliferation and heterogeneity of products that serve our business requirements in tandem, SAP has to maintain a high standard for its integration platform offerings. On-premise offerings have been handling integration workloads for years. With cloud solutions now becoming more prominent, SAP’s cloud integration technologies, which can be defined as an enterprise integration platform as a service (EiPaaS), complement the on-premise integration products to form a complete suite of technologies for a hybrid integration platform.

Figure 6.6 is an illustration of SAP’s integration technology offerings. Now, let’s briefly discuss them. In later chapters, we will delve deeper into specific topics and examples:
