Creating an eye-catching video

In this section, we will add all the elements we need to make our promo video interesting. In terms of the things we covered in the previous chapter, I will not go in-depth, and instead, I will tell you which elements I’ve added to my video and why.

The first thing I will do is add the titles with the information about the event and work my way up to the effects, animations, and transitions:

  1. My belief is that in these kinds of videos, less is more. I have 10 video clips on my timeline, so I will add 5 titles to every other clip, giving some information about the event and maybe even adding some fake reviews to make it look more appealing. Note that when you’re working on a real promotional video, you should always ask the client whether they have any reviews that you can add to the video, as adding fake reviews may tarnish your reputation:
