Overview of this book

Example implementation

For this example, we wanted to make it relevant, while also simple. We also wanted to make sure it touched on enough aspects to truly give an overview of the capabilities of Marketing Cloud. Without further ado, we want to present you with the real-life example we are planning on creating with you...the Automation Dashboard!

Automation Dashboard

The first thing to address is, what is it? Although similar to the Overview page in Marketing Cloud Automation Studio, this app will let you see more details in a much cleaner way as well as provide additional information such as status, next run date, type, the duration of the last run, and the modified date. It also allows for a better overview with a quicker search bar as well as filtering to only allow a view into automations that have been run in the past 6 months.
