Robot management

Managing UiPath Robots by performing the add, update, and remove Robot tasks is essential for UiPath support personnel. Unattended Robots and Attended UiPath Assistants are the two UiPath Robot categories discussed. The actual Robot or assistant software is installed in the physical or virtual machines, and the configuration and management of these Robot artifacts are carried out in UiPath Orchestrator.

Both the machine and the Robot are configured as tenant-level entities, hence the proper mapping of tenant-level machines and Robots needs to be available in the first place, for example, let’s say machine VD-01 hosts RPAROBOT1 or machine template MT-01 hosts RPAROBOT1, RPAROBOT2, and RPAROBOT3.
