In the previous two chapters, we looked at Sales and Lead Generation Processes, respectively. We explored how to understand and capture the requirements of your business. We also explored the data structure and functionalities that Sales Cloud has for these processes so that you can design data models that are appropriate for our use case. In this chapter, we build that foundation and look at the functionality that provides increases in Sales productivity. You will learn about the importance of the Sales’ User experience and optimizing the options you have to optimize it for your use case. You will also learn about the tools available to automate actions, options for tracking activities, and the mobile app for Users who spend more time out of the office than in. In each section, we start with the functionality that is typically easiest to implement and progress to those that take greater consideration or require additional licenses.
