Summary
We learned about the techniques to manually create basic flowchart diagrams in this chapter. This included ways of breaking down complex flows into multiple pages with subprocesses and hyperlinks taking you backward and forward. We learned how to glue connectors to shapes so they stay glued to a particular point or move around it as the page layout is modified. We also learned how labels and more information can be stored with each shape.
In the next chapter, we will learn about one of the most popular standards for sharing process flowcharts, Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN).
