Who this book is for

The book is intended, first and foremost, for systems engineers who need to produce work products for the specification of systems that include combinations of engineering disciplines, such as software, electronics, and mechanical engineering. More specifically, this book is about MBSE using the Systems Modeling Language (SysML) to capture, render, and organize the engineering data. Furthermore, this book is especially concerned with how to do all that in a way that achieves the benefits of agile methods – verifiably correct, adaptable, and maintainable systems. We assume a basic understanding of SysML and at least some experience as a systems engineer.
