In this chapter, we have discussed how to put together an implementation team and start planning your Microsoft Dynamics GP implementation. We went over important planning concepts and questions including reporting requirements, training, and the pros and cons of running two systems concurrently. Details of importing different types of data and the various import tools and methods available were outlined. We also introduced a sample company and put together a sample implementation task list.
In the next chapter we will continue our implementation planning by delving into the details of the Dynamics GP system.
