How to do it…

This first method will remove one AudioSuite Effect at a time (per enabled track):

  1. Enable the Track Selector(s) for the track(s) that contain a Segment(s) with an AudioSuite Plug-In that you want to remove.

  2. Park the blue Position Indicator on the Segment(s) with AudioSuite Plug-in to be removed.

  3. Click the Remove Effect button (which resembles the octagonal Stop sign in the U.S with a Slash through it). By default, the Remove Effect button can be found in these locations:

    • In the Fast Menu Tool Palette, located between the yellow Splice arrow and the red Overwrite arrow

    • Below the Record Monitor, in the second row of buttons

    • On the Timeline Tool Bar

    • In the Command Palette: Tools Menu | Command Palette | FX Tab
